About
04 — who's writingI grew up in small-town Colorado and built my own treehouse, then practically lived in it. These days I'm a lead software engineer on a stretch of high prairie between the plains and the peaks, where I share a life with my fiancée alongside our dogs and a rowdy flock of ducks.
When I'm not building something, I'm reading fantasy, nerding out on Merlin, tutoring, or losing an evening to a shelf of old game consoles. The mountains are home, and I'm not built to be average. I'd rather make something exceptional.
The mark
The mark signing each page is a tree of life held inside a yin-yang, drawn from a piece of art on my wall and the ink I carry on my arm. The tree is the treehouse kid who never really climbed down. The yin-yang is the balance I keep chasing between roots and reach, the plains and the peaks, the work and the life around it.
